Travel Insurance for all Trips

 

We always recommend getting trip insurance, you never know what could come up prior to the trip or during the trip and you really don’t want to worry about these things.   Unfortunately, there is the likelihood of injury or family crises that may create a need for you to cancel your trip or leave during the trip.  Clearly if this happens prior to the trip, we will try to help you find a replacement, but this is not always possible, and you are ultimately responsible for the entire trip costs if no replacement is found.

 

Here is a quick comparison of three good companies providing trip insurance.   The examples are for a trip costing $3000.  Many people we know, have used Allianz in the past and had great success.  All 3 three of these have great ratings and online reviews.  SKI.COM also offers trip insurance, but seems to be lacking in completeness coverage and more costly than the below three recommendations.

 

Additionally, another thing that many travelers buy is an annual Emergency Medical Evacuation and Transportation Insurance as well, thru a company called Masa.
